The goal of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy is relieving and eliminating a wide range of psychic disturbances. From momentary, sometimes only superficial emotional shocks, to persistent, often deep and early developmental complications that require intensive, sometimes even several years long work on the entire personality and the structure of interpersonal relations.
Regardless of its extent, each analytical therapy is a process that aims at longterm improvement of individual’s quality of life.
